About Me
I have over twenty years of teaching and educational leadership experience in Cambridge, MA and Los Angeles, primarily as a humanities educator and instructional dean. I completed my Ed.D. from UCLA and my MPP from Harvard, and I currently work at Cal State LA.
Faced with the challenges of the pandemic, I began this work by helping several doctoral candidates complete their dissertations and a few socially-justice minded NGOs gather original research and grant materials in order to support the next steps for their work.
I continue to help individuals and organizations with their research, writing, editing, and organizational needs as they juggle the demands of the present and aim to achieve their goals in the future. I look forward to working with you as a thought partner. See the "services" page for more details.

Testimonials
"Jason is a self-directed individual who communicates effectively and possesses the qualities of an active leader and a strong advocate for his peers in an academic environment. He conducted workshops for doctoral students in mixed research methods, and I found his ability to connect research methodology principles and practices with applied dissertation projects as a keen example of effective andragogical methodology at work. Jason's ability to analyze and synthesize material for problems of practice is superb and ideal for today's educational context." -A.C.
"Jason has been an incredible thought partner during my dissertation journey. His intellectual prowess and strong grasp of procedural and conceptual tasks will be a real benefit to any doctoral student. I stan for Dr. Kim-Seda!” - A.J.
"Jason was a life-saver. By the time I got to the editing stage, I needed an additional set of eyes and Jason was extremely thorough. His support was excellent and very timely!" - B.M.
"I am not sure I would have finished my dissertation without Jason’s support! Acting as a thought partner, Jason helped me turn my data and rough ideas into a polished dissertation." - K.Y.
“I would not have finished my dissertation without Jason. I was at the point in the process where I needed feedback on a regular basis, and my professors were at a point in their process where they did not have time in their schedule. Jason was there for me every step of the way. The feedback and suggestions he gave were insightful and timely. I highly recommend his services without hesitation.” -SC
